French association Les Femmes s’Animent (LFA), aimed at promoting diversity in the animation Industry, will attend the Annecy Festival and MIFA 2023. Three events have been announced:
- June 13th, 8.30 to 10a.m.,entre 8h30 et 10h, a breakfast is planned. Meet and share with international women’s animation organizations and associations!
The event is opened to all, whoever you are and no matter which kind of accreditation you got. No registration is required.
- June 14th, 8.30-10a.m., another breakfast will focus on women directors selected for the festival.
We already had the opportunity to attend these events in the past. They are a good opportunity to learn about a wide range of directors and artists.
- On Thursday at 3p.m., a pitch session is planned, followed by a networking event. The pitch session will showcase French and African talents from “Parcours de Femmes”, a French-speaking mentoring programme created by Les Femmes s’Animent.
A MIFA accreditation is required to attend.
