Pixar unveils a new trailer for Inside Out 2, their upcoming animated feature. The movie is directed by Kelsey Mann. This storyboard artist directed the animated short Party Central back in 2014. This is his first animated feature as a director.
Riley (now 13) and her emotions are back:
Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.
In other words, we will be introduced to new emotions: Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, Embarrassment. Anxiety will play a key role.
Inside Out 2 will be released in theaters June 14.And since Disney-Pixar will attend the Annecy Festival June 9-15, we can probably expect director Kelsey Mann and producer Mark Nielsen to make the trip!
