Virtual Production: A New Chapter for Dark Matters

This article is also available in: French

The virtual production and filming studio Dark Matters is undergoing changes: Romain Cheminade, president and co-founder, is leaving the company.
Jean-Louis Eude (co-founder and CFO) is named President of the company, while Yaniss Boulanouar (co-founder and until now CTO/CCO) is named General Manager.

In a LinkedIn post, Romain Cheminade thanked the team, as well as Dark Matters clients, and mentioned that he is looking for new projects.

Dark Matters highlights Yaniss Boulanouar’s 30 years of experience in the field of visual effects, events, and cinema, and a similar experience of Jean-Louis Eude in supporting the development of technology companies.

It should be noted that Dark Matters offers about 15,000 square meters of filming stages and virtual production services in Tigery, near Paris. The team can also deploy virtual production services externally if needed.
We interviewed Dark Matters last autumn to discuss their recent and upcoming projects.
