The Mifa, the Film Market which takes place alongside the Annecy International Animation Festival and is dedicated to professionals from the animation industry, announces “Le Campus”. This new venue is taylored for students and talents: the place to be if you’re looking of a job!
Masterclasses, panels, recruitment sessions
Le Campus will take place from Tuesday 13th to Friday 16th June. You can expect panels, sessions and masterclasses from various studios.
At this stage, the schedule is not available, however we already know that Jorge R. Gutierrez, patron of Mifa Campus 2023 and director of Maya and the Three and The Book of Life, will be giving a masterclass on Tuesday 13th June, 9:00 am to 10:15 am. The event will be open to students and Mifa badgeholders, by reservation only.
Furthermore, Recruiters Talks are planned: studios will discuss their working environment, job prospects and which profiles they are looking for. A good way for students and talents to know more about these studios.
Alongside these Recruiters Talks, Recruitment Sessions will of course take place. A dedicated venue will allow you to meet studios from all over the world.
Who will attend?
Several studios have been announced and will attend the event.
DNEG, Fortiche, Gaumont Animation, Illumination Mac Guff, Psyop, Skydance Animation, Sony Pictures Animation / Sony Pictures Imageworks, Xilam. You can find these studios on our CG & VFX Studios map as well as on our list of studios from the whole digital creation industry.

If you’re a student, please note that you can get a student accreditation for 80€ incl. VAT (please note that the price will rise after May 2nd). You’ll get access to the Mifa Campus, limited access to the Mifa (one day only to visit the Stands & Pavilions Area, for example). You’ll also have access, of course, to all the Festival events: screenings, masterclasses, making-of, etc.
