Jorge R. Gutierrez, the writer, animator and director known among other things for El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, the animated film The Book of Life, and more recently the Netflix series Maya and the Three, has revealed that he is working on several new projects.
Jorge Gutierrez’s distinct visual style and his inspiration drawn from Mexican culture have contributed to his following.
On X (formerly Twitter), Gutierrez announced that he is developing two animated films and three animated series, with some of these projects being developed for Netflix.
No details have been provided about the content of these upcoming projects. In the meantime, it’s highly recommended to explore his previous projects if you haven’t already.
