Canadian VFX studi Hybride unveils a VFX breakdown showcasing their work on the third season of The Mandalorian. The team of artists delivered 950 shots for the show, streaming on Disney+. As Hybride explains, this “represents the studio’s biggest workload with Lucasfilm and Disney to date”.
The breakdown shows, among other things, that many sequences were shot on bleu screen and not using StageCraft, the virtual production system used by ILM. It will also help you understand which parts were real or not when it comes to backgrounds, crowds, Grogu and the flying capsule.
