Back in 2021, we featured Shapelab, a 3D sculpting tool developed by Leopoly. At that time, it was still in early access.
At SIGGRAPH 2023, Leopoly officially released Shapelab. You can get it on Steam for a few dozen dollars. This tool supports VR headsets but can also be used as a desktop app, as well as on stereoscopic displays (a demo is available at SIGGRAPH, at the Dimenco booth).
Shapelab offers polygonal modeling/sculpting tools, setting it apart from other similar VR tools that rely on voxels. It offers 3D painting features, real-time tessellation allowing you to add details where needed, as well as various environments and materials.
You can, of course, export your creations with textures. You can import/export 3D models using various file formats: FBX, OBJ, STL, and GLB.
