Illogic Studios unveils a teaser for Scavengers, their upcoming animated feature. The team, based in Montpellier, France, is already known for the animated short film Garden Party.
This animated feature was unveiled last year during the MIFA pitch session at the Annecy Film Festival. Scavengers follows “the journey of a lazy rat and a resourceful frog trying to maintain their luxurious lifestyle and paradise : a gigantic city made of trash.”
The team explains that “the film aims to take a deep dive into the consumer culture obsession, a satire of the modern society full of comfort and consumption.” Since the animted feature is still under development, no release date has been announced at this stage.
