VFX Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks from 2000 to 2020 (he since joined netflix as Director, VFX Animation), Danny Dimian worked on movies such as Hollow Man (Paul Verhoeven, 2000), Spider-Man (Sam Raimi, 2002), Surf’s Up (Ash Brannon & Chris Buck, 2007), Monster House (Gil Kenan, 2006), The Polar Express (Robert Zemeckis, 2004), Hotel Transylvania (Genndy Tartakovsky, 2012) and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman & Bob Persichetti, 2018). We interviewed him on these projects; he also gave us his take on HFR for movies, both in live-action and animated projects.
