NVIDIA officially launched DeepSearch as part of their Omniverse Enterprise cloud-based solution.
This new tool, explains NVIDIA, will allow you to use AI to search through asset catalogs with ease. No tagging required.
This might be a game-changing approach for many VFX, animation and videogame studios. Their artists won’t have to spend time on sorting and tagging assets. This will also allow companies to re-use assets created in the past over many years by different teams, but that had never been tagged and sorted in a coherent manner, and were therefore useless.
As explained above, DeepSearch is now available in Omniverse Enterprise, a collaboration and simulation platform that you can try for free. NVIDIA also provides a practical example of how DeepSearch can be used. In the video below, ILM explains that thanks to DeepSearch, they can re-use their vast collection of photos of sky and terrain shot all over the world. And since DeepSearch allows users to use natural language, search requests such as “gloomy moody sky” can provide meaningful results.
