The highly anticipated Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, will premiere on Netflix December 9. This Double Dare You! Film / ShadowMachine production, in association with the Jim Henson Company is starring Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, Gregory Mann, Cate Blanchett, Christoph Waltz, Ron Perlman.
An exhibition is currently taking place in Paris, France about the movie, at the Galerie Paris Cinéma. Here is our virtual tour of the exhibit! The exhibition was created in partnership with Art Ludique, and features stop-motion puppets, concept arts, storyboards and even a short behind-the-scenes video.
This exhibition, titled “L’Art de Pinocchio par Guillermo del Toro“, isn’t very big. Still, it is well worth it. We especially liked the puppets, used in production. There is also a small shop where visitors can buy Blu-Ray/DVDs and books about Pinocchio and Guillermo del Toro.
Our video doesn’t really include any major spoiler, especially since the overall story is widely known. However, concepts and drawings related to specific sequences and characters are included.
The exhibition is free and will end on December 18.
(Wednesday 2pm-7pm, Thursday to Sunday 11am-7pm)
