Vincent Pistien, Armand Goxe, Florian De Chelle, Marine Corbineau, Alexis Maurice, Tom Rameaux, Valentin Giuili have released Gloire Amère 40000, their thesis short film (Gobelins, class of 2022).
After an epic introduction sequence, we follow a warrior going home. The title of the short is a pun and a reference to Warhammer 40,000: “Gloire Amère” (which can be translated into “bitter glory”) and Warhammer have similar pronunciations in French.
After completing her quest, an immortal warrior returns to her family. She realizes that nothing is the same as before, and will have to find a purpose for her new life.
