Game artist Katherine Pherivong, currently seeking a position in France, unveils her new latest personal project: Junonia. This real-time 3D character (approximately 180,000 triangles for the entire character, including accessories) is based on a concept by Josh ‘Badger’ Atack, with his permission, of course.

Katherine Pherivong worked with ZBrush, Topogun, and 3ds Max. The UV mapping was done using Rizom, baking with Marmoset Toolbag 4, and texturing using Adobe’s Substance tools. Finally, the rendering was managed using Unreal Engine.
Below, you’ll find more images of the project. Turntables are also available on Artstation.

A graduate of New3dge school (class of 2023), Katherine Pherivong has had the opportunity to work for various clients such as Tamalpais Games, Hobbes Studio, and Lunar Workshop. Some of her professional work is showcased in her portfolio.
