3fFlow announced the upcoming launch of their 2021 contest, the 3Dflow World Cup. This contest is, of course, focused on 3dflow’s 3D scan/photogrammetry software, 3DF Zephyr. You can enter the contest even if you don’t own 3DF Zephyr: you can use 3DF Zephyr free, download the 3DF Zephyr Lite trial or you can request a free trial for 3DF Zephyr.
The contest mimics the football World Cup; here are the main rules:
- When you enter the contest, you will pick a country (it doesn’t really matter which one, this is just for fun);
- 15.07.21 – 25.08.21 – Round 1 submissions: reconstruct and share anything you like (there is no theme). Multiple submissions are allowed. The judges will then select which contestants are allowed to move forward (quality and originality will be the main criteria).
- 05.09.21 – 19.09.21 – Finalist submissions: reconstruct and share anything you like (there is no theme). Multiple submissions are allowed. The judges will then select the winners.
The winners will receive 3DF Zephyr & Sketchfab subscriptions. The 1st place will also get a Quadro RTX A4000 graphic card.
