I am an enthusiastic lover of art, mainly intrigued by 3D Modelling for characters,
assets and environments. My love for art has evolved throughout my academic and
social experiences. From studying Art and design in Junior school ,I fell in love with
Art as an escape and a tool for profound storytelling .I recently got the opportunity
to lead a Team of talented animators and artists as we participated in the 50 Hour
animation Contest Hosted by The Lausanne school of the arts(Switzerland),In this
contest we animated a short film on gender equality and it was another opportunity
to tell stories that reflect society and offer solutions to problems in my surrounding,
sometimes I like making art that makes someone laugh or just puts a smile on their
face.
I am currently studying 2D/3D Animation at LISAA, Where I completed my end-of2nd year movie titled Cocoon along with a Team of 7 other animation students, The
movie went on to win The Enhance Majuscule Childhood Media Prize 2021.
For my final year, I am Directing an animated short titled Marumong (land of the
bullets). The movie is based in my home country Botswana, it’s a historical story that
pays homage to African soldiers who fought in the second world war.
With all these opportunities, I have learned to work with different artists of
different touches and perspectives, allowing me to grow my own abilities as part
of a Team.
