La 15ème édition des VES Awards se tenait hier à Beverly Hills.
La liste des projets récompensés est visible ci-dessous ; Le Livre de la Jungle décroche le prix des meilleurs effets dans un long-métrage photoréaliste, ainsi que quatre autres titres. Kubo et l’armure magique remporte le prix des effets dans un long-métrage animé. La série Game of Thrones, enfin, est une fois de plus récompensée.
A noter également, le prix VES Visionary Award décerné à Victoria Alonso (Producer / Marvel Studios Executive VP of Physical Production), et le Lifetime Achievement attribué à Award Ken Ralston (Senior VFX Supervisor / Creative Head, chez Sony Pictures Imageworks.
